§ 74.49 PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR GENE FLOYD DRIVE, THE PUBLIC PARKING LOT ADJACENT TO TENNIS COURTS LOCATED ON THE TOWN HALL COMPLEX AND THE TOWN’S HISTORIC SQUARE ADJACENT TO SALISBURY STREET, AND THE SOUTH CHANNEL DRIVE PARK.
   (A)   The first two hours of parking in parking meter spaces located on Gene Floyd Drive, in the public parking lot adjacent to the tennis courts in the Town Hall complex, in the town's historic square adjacent to Salisbury Street and in any location in the town's historic square adjacent to Salisbury Street not designated as a parking meter space shall be free. Fees for parking in these areas beyond the first two hours shall be the normal hourly rate then in effect. A maximum of two hour parking per day shall be allowed with a residential parking permit or tax decal at the South Channel Drive Park. Free parking shall be permitted for all visitors that are actively using the park without the display of a residential parking permit or tax decal.
   (B)   The Town Manager is authorized to erect signs limiting parking on Gene Floyd Drive, within the public parking lot located adjacent to the tennis courts in the Town Hall complex and at any other parking location on the Town Hall complex to Town Hall employees or town business parking only. It shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle in spaces so marked unless such person is an authorized Town Hall employee or utilizing such parking space for legitimate business purposes in the Town Hall complex.
   (C)   A vehicle properly displaying a current authorized residential parking permit issued in accordance with § 74.42 shall be permitted to remain in a parking meter space located on Gene Floyd Drive or in the public parking lot located adjacent to the tennis courts in the Town Hall complex without paying the required fee.
