Sec. 6.2. Form of ballots; passage of referendum; repeal or amendment.
The ballots used when voting upon such ordinances shall contain these words: "For the ordinance" (stating the nature of the proposed ordinance) and "Against the ordinance" (stating the nature of the proposed ordinance). If a majority of the qualified voters voting on the proposed ordinance shall vote in favor thereof, such ordinance shall thereupon become a valid and binding ordinance of the Town. Any ordinance proposed by petition or which shall be adopted by the vote of the people may be repealed or amended by the Board; provided, however, that such ordinance may not be repealed or amended earlier than two years following the effective date of such ordinance.
