§ 50.110 EXCEPTIONS FROM FOLLOWING EXTENSION PROCEDURE AUTHORIZED.
Nothing in this chapter shall prevent the Board of Aldermen from extending water or sanitary sewer mains within the town on its own motion without receipt of an application from property owners, and from assessing the cost of such an extension in accordance with this chapter when, in the opinion of the Board, the general public interest demands such an extension of service. The Board may decline to assess the cost of such an extension and pay for the same from town funds.
