All real property affected by this chapter shall be subject to inspection by the county, MPCA, law enforcement officer, or their designees in accordance with Minnesota Statutes and this chapter. After presentation of credentials, the county, MPCA, law enforcement officer, or their designees may collect samples for evidence or laboratory examination as deemed necessary for the enforcement of this chapter. No person shall refuse to permit the county, MPCA, law enforcement officer, or their designees, to inspect any premises or interfere with or resist the county, MPCA, law enforcement officer, or their designees, in the discharge of their duty to protect the public health and safety.
