§ 156.19 NONCONFORMING USES.
   Regulations not retroactive. The regulations prescribed by this chapter shall not be construed to require the removal, lowering, or other change or alteration of any structure or natural object not conforming to the regulations on the effective date of this chapter, or otherwise to interfere with the continuance of any nonconforming use. Nothing herein contained shall require any change in construction, alteration, or intended use of any structure, the construction of which was begun prior to the effective date of this chapter, and is diligently prosecuted and completed within two years thereof.
