(A) The Uniform Housing Code, Volume III, most recent edition, published by the International Conference of Building Officials, is hereby adopted by reference as though set forth verbatim herein. Three copies of such code shall be marked "CITY OF WORTHINGTON - OFFICIAL COPY" and kept on file in the office of the City Clerk and open for inspection and use by the public.
(B) The code hereby adopted shall be enforced by the office of the City Engineer, who shall be designated as Building Official.
(C) Wherever the word "municipality" is used in the code hereby adopted, it shall refer to the city.
(D) The Board of Zoning Appeals shall be designated by the Mayor to act as the Housing Advisory and Appeals Board.
