Every licensee shall require a seller or pawner of any item listed in § 115.07 to present to the licensee at the time of transaction an identification card in the form of a driver's license with photo, State of Minnesota, photo identification card, or passport with photo, which shall indicate the sell/pawner's identity and current home address. The licensee shall record on the register required by this section in connection with the transaction the type of card presented, the agency issuing the card, and the serial number of the card, if any.
