§ 92.05 DUTIES OF CITY OFFICERS.
   A position of Neighborhood Services Officer is hereby created for the purpose of primary responsibility for the enforcement of the provisions of this chapter relating to nuisances as defined herein. From time to time the Council may assign to the Neighborhood Services Officer enforcement of the provisions of other ordinances of the City. For the purpose of enforcing the provisions of this chapter and the provisions of other ordinances, the enforcement of which may from time to time be assigned to the Neighborhood Services Officer, the Neighborhood Services Officer is specifically authorized to issue petty misdemeanor citations for violation of an ordinance which the Neighborhood Services Officer is authorized to enforce. The Police Department shall enforce provisions relating to other nuisances and shall assist the other designated officers in the enforcement of provisions relating to nuisances affecting public safety. Such officers shall have the power to inspect private premises and take all reasonable precautions to prevent the commission and maintenance of public nuisances.
