Pursuant to M.S. § 429.061, subd. 3, any person may partially prepay any special assessment levied pursuant to M.S. Chapter 429 so long as the prepayment occurs prior to the annual certification of the assessment to the County Auditor. The minimum partial prepayment which will be accepted is $50. Partial prepayments shall be applied first to any accrued interest and second to reduce principal outstanding.
