(A) Adequate sewer bedding shall be provided. All sewers shall be built with at least two feet of cover to protect them from freezing. Final backfill shall be of a material removed from excavation except where other materials are specified.
(B) (1) If soil is used for bedding, it must be compacted on grade.
(2) Debris, frozen material, large clods or stone, organic matter, or other unstable material shall not be used for final backfill within two feet of the top of the pipe.
(3) Final backfill shall be placed in such a matter as not to disturb the alignment of the pipe.
