(A) It shall be the duty of the Town Marshal to serve or cause to be served a notice upon the owner or occupant of any premises upon which a violation of any section of this chapter exists and said notice shall demand the abatement of the nuisance within ten days.
(B) If the owner or occupant of the premises so served does not abate the nuisance and therefore bring their property into compliance with this chapter within ten days, the town may proceed to abate such nuisance, keeping an account of the expense of the abatement, and such expense shall be charged and paid by such owner or occupant. The town may contract with others to complete the abatement.
