(A) The Violations Clerk may accept written appearances, waivers of trial, admissions of violations, and payments of civil penalties in ordinance violation cases, subject to § 34.07 which establishes a schedule of provisions of the municipal code of the town that are subject to admission of violation before the Violations Clerk and the amount of civil penalty to be assessed a violator who elects to admit a violation.

(B) The Violations Clerk shall collect civil penalties, provide receipts therefor, and account for such civil penalties under procedures established by the State Board of Accounts.
