(A) Any person or persons peddling food of their own production shall be exempt from procuring said peddler's license.
(B) Local organizations of a benevolent, fraternal, or civic nature shall be exempt from the provisions of this chapter. Determination as to whether any organization shall be considered within the preview of this section shall rest solely within the sound discretion of a majority of the Council members of the town.
