Be it ordained by the Council members of the town that before any person or persons shall exhibit within the corporate limits of said town, any theatrical performance or amusement show for which money is demanded or received, or shall auction any dry goods, notions, or other merchandise therein, or operate any refreshment stand, such person shall procure a license as hereinafter provided.
