Any golf cart that is operated on the public streets and alleyways within the jurisdiction of the town must be equipped with the following:
(A) A slow moving vehicle sign in conformity with I.C. 9-21-9-2, namely a triangular slow moving vehicle emblem mounted as near as is practicable to the center of mass and at an approximate height of not less than three feet and not more than five feet from level ground or pavement surface, mounted so as to be entirely visible from the rear, day or night; or alternatively an amber flashing lamp in conformity with I.C. 9-21-9-4, that is mounted at a height as low as practicable that is visible from a distance of not less than 500 feet to the rear;
(B) Two operating head lamps (one on each side of the front of the golf cart) of a white or clear light that can illuminate the road ahead during hours of darkness and be observed at 500 feet;
(C) Two operating tail lights that are red in color and visible from a distance of not less than 500 feet; and
(D) A rear view mirror.
