§ 92.09  MAINTENANCE OF PROPERTY NEAR STREETS.
   The town shall not be responsible for maintenance, care, or removal of shrubs, grass, trees, or other vegetation which grows in portions of real property which lie between the street curbs and sidewalks. However, the town may at its option remove a tree, shrub, or any kind of vegetation which is a hazard or interferes with public safety. The costs of removal shall be apportioned to property owners affected.
