135.02 APPOINTMENT OF PROSECUTOR AND ASSISTANT PROSECUTORS.
   (a)   The Director of Law shall appoint the City Prosecutor. The Director of Law, in consultation with the City Prosecutor, shall appoint Assistant City Prosecutors.
   (b)   In addition to such other qualifications as the Director of Law may reasonably require, the City Prosecutor and the Assistant City Prosecutors shall, at a minimum, be and remain, during his or her term in office, an attorney admitted to the Bar of Ohio and be and remain, during his or her term of office, in good standing with the Supreme Court of Ohio.
   (c)   Both the City Prosecutor and the Assistant City Prosecutors may represent the City in a prosecutorial capacity in criminal and traffic cases pending, or in which the future might be pending, in the Franklin County Municipal Court, both in the Criminal and Civil Divisions; and
   (d)   The Prosecutor and Assistant City Prosecutors shall have and exercise the same powers as the Director of Law but only in connection with the prosecution of criminal and traffic cases in the Mayor’s Court or the Franklin County Municipal Court.
