The control and management of the union cemeteries shall be vested in a joint Board of Cemetery Trustees chosen by the City Council and Township Trustees in joint meeting as provided in Ohio R.C. 759.36. Taxes for cemetery purposes shall be levied at a joint meeting of the Township Trustees and City Council. The Board of Cemetery Trustees shall make rules and regulations for the management of the cemeteries and may delegate the administration of such rules and regulations to a Cemetery Superintendent, appointed by a majority vote of the members at such salary as the Board may establish.
