(a) For all property and premises connected into the sanitary sewer system after the effective date of this section, a sewer capacity charge based on the size of the water tap to said property or premises shall be levied based on the following schedule:

Credit for any existing structure which has a use charge or for an existing structure enlarged or removed may be applied against the system capacity charge herein imposed in the amount of the original structure charge up to but not more than the current charge.
A deduction may be made from the system capacity herein imposed, whenever, and to the extent that the owner of the property concerned can show that a special assessment or charge for trunk storm and sanitary sewer benefit has been paid, provided that such deduction shall be limited to the amount of such original payment up to but not more than the amount of current charge.
(b) For a six-inch house sewer connection there shall be a sewer tap fee of fifty dollars ($50.00).
(c) For the removal of any sewer, or any excavation therefor, there shall be charge of twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
