531.01 ABORTION TRAFFICKING.
   (a)   Abortion Defined. As used in this section "abortion" means the purposeful termination of a human pregnancy by any person, including the pregnant woman herself, with an intention other than to produce a live birth or to remove a dead fetus or embryo. Abortion is the practice of medicine or surgery for the purposes of Ohio R.C. 4731.41.

   (b)   Abortion Trafficking.
      (1)   No person shall experiment upon or sell the product of human conception which is aborted. Experiment does not include autopsies pursuant to Ohio R.C. 313.13 and 2108.50.
      (2)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of abortion trafficking, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
