Whenever two inches or more of snow has fallen, or is forecasted to fall, the city shall issue a snow alert, which will last the duration of the weather event. During this snow alert, it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle, including, but not limited to, a car, truck, trailer, boat or any other equipment upon the public streets for the duration of the snow alert. Upon completion of initial snow removal operations, parking will be allowed to resume on Main Street during the snow alert, for up to ten hours or until the depth of snow on the street reaches two inches, whichever shall occur first.
