(A) If the owner or occupant of any dwelling, business or other building fronting on a street within the city shall fail, refuse or neglect to place the number, or replace the number when necessary, the City Commissioners may cause a notice to be served by registered mail on the owner or occupant at the owner or occupant’s last address, ordering the appropriate action.
(B) In case of failure of such owner or occupant to comply with such notice within 30 days after receipt thereof, such person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable as according to law.
