All members of boards and commissions shall be appointed by the president with the advice and consent of the board of trustees. All members' terms shall be measured from the first day of the year of appointment. A board or commission appointee whose term has expired may continue serving on the board or commission until a successor has been appointed. Vacancies shall be filled for an unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointments. Any appointment to fill a vacancy on a board or commission shall be for the remaining portion of the vacating member's term. (Ord. 2014-11, 2-4-2014)
