The following fee schedule is hereby established to reimburse the village for the cost of providing services and/or materials to individual persons and businesses:
A. An administrative processing fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall be imposed upon all individuals issued citations in violation of a municipal ordinance.
B. An administrative process fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall be imposed upon all individuals who are processed in the Worth Police Department's booking department for any legal process including civil or criminal charges including a warrant.
C. All administrative processing fees pursuant to Sections A and B shall constitute a debt due and owing to the Village. The Village may seek to obtain a judgment on the debt and enforce such judgment as provided for by law. Failure to pay the administrative processing fee shall not constitute grounds for holding an individual in custody. (Ord. 13-06, 2-19-2013; amd. Ord. 2020-28, 8-4- 2020; Ord. 2023-38, 9-5-2023)
