A. It shall be the duty of the health officer to enforce all the laws of the state, provisions of this code and other ordinances of the village in relation to matters pertaining to the preservation of public health within the village. He shall have the right to arrest or cause to be arrested any person who violates any of the health provisions of this code. (1970 Code §21.19)
B. The health officer shall have and exercise general supervision over the sanitary condition of the village. (1970 Code §21.20)
C. He shall give to the president and the officers in charge of all other executive departments all such professional advice and information as they may require with a view to the preservation of the public health. (1970 Code §21.21)
