7-16-3: CULVERT REGULATIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS:
   A.   No person shall install, repair, or replace any culvert in the village without first obtaining a permit authorizing such work, on a form provided by the village, providing the address of the property, the location of the culvert to be installed, replaced, or repaired, the culvert's size, type, and depth, and all other information required by the director of public works, in his sole discretion, to evaluate the culvert's structural sufficiency.
   B.   All culverts shall:
      1.   Be at least twelve inches (12") in diameter or, if determined to be necessary by the director of public works to reduce flooding or other property damage, larger;
      2.   Be constructed of corrugated metal pipe or an equivalent material approved in writing by the director of public works; and
      3.   Have proper flared end sections.
   C.   A heavy stone driveway base measuring the full width of the driveway shall be installed immediately after a culvert crossing underneath a driveway is installed or replaced. (Ord. 2016-33, 10-4-2016)
