6-5-2: PERMISSION REQUIRED:
   A.   Board Of Trustees: Approval of the board of trustees shall be secured before commencement of construction of any improvement. Approval of the final plat by the board of trustees shall constitute permission to proceed with construction; provided, that the plat is accepted for recording by the county recorder. If the subdivider elects, as provided in this chapter, to construct an improvement prior to approval of the final plat, the board of trustees may extend permission to proceed upon recommendation of the real estate development board together with certification by the village engineer that working drawings and specifications have been prepared and that engineering fees have been paid and that inspection bond has been posted.    B.   State And County: The subdivider shall also secure any permission required by the laws of the state and county officials, and permission extended by the board of trustees shall not relieve the subdivider of responsibility to secure state and county approval. If such permission is required, written permission shall be filed with the village engineer. (1970 Code §35.66)
