903.05 BOND.

   At the time of application, the applicant shall furnish a performance bond for the amount of the estimated construction cost of the driveway or sidewalk. The performance bond or cash deposit submitted to the City will assure the City that the subdivider or property owner or his heirs, successors and assigns, their agents or servants will comply with all applicable terms, conditions, provisions and requirements of this chapter, and will faithfully perform and complete the work of constructing the driveway or sidewalk. The bond shall be in a form approved by the Director of Law. The term of this bond shall extend twelve months beyond the completion date of the project, but the bond shall be returned to the bonded person upon the verification, by the City Engineer, that the driveway or sidewalk is completed and accepted.
