549.02 DISCHARGING FIREARMS.
(a) No person shall discharge any air gun, rifle, shotgun, revolver, pistol or other firearm within the corporate limits of the Municipality.
(b) This section shall not apply to the discharge or possession of a firearm for show or memorial purposes where no projectile is discharged; or to the discharge or possession of a firearm in the lawful defense of one’s person or property; or in the discharge of an official duty; or at a supervised firing range operated as an incidental use to the Wayne County Fair.
(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
