539.15 USE OF ROADWAYS AND PATHS.
   (a)    Except with the permission of the Director, no person shall use any portion of a park for purposes of way except roadways, drives, paths, walks and trails established for that purpose. Bridle paths, foot paths or bicycle paths shall not be used by any motor driven vehicle.
   (b)   No person shall drive upon or along any roadway, park driveway or parking lot which has been closed and posted with appropriate signs or barricades. The Director shall have authority to order roads or drives closed during the process of construction, reconstruction or repairs or when in his/her opinion weather conditions render travel either unsafe or unduly destructive of the roadway surface, or when special events involving many people render vehicle traffic unsafe or incompatible with the purpose of the special event.
   (c)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
