539.14 HORSEBACK RIDING.
   (a)   No person shall ride a horse within any park except on parkways, park drives or bridle trails; and only in a manner that has due respect for other riders, vehicles or pedestrians and the safety of these while in lawful use of the park. All riders shall follow established lanes of traffic and shall grant right of way to pedestrians under all circumstances.
   (b)   No person shall leave a horse unattended in a park; nor shall any person over-ride, mistreat, abuse, mutilate or torture any horse while within a park.
   (c)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
