The City Engineer is directed to study and investigate the need for, submit recommendations as to, and, in accordance with the State laws and ordinances of the City, designate and maintain by appropriate devices, signs, marks or lines upon the pavement:
(a) Crosswalks.
(b) Safety zones.
(c) Lanes for traffic on street pavements.
(d) Restriction on right, left or U turns.
(e) Courses to be traveled by vehicles at intersections.
(f) Bus stops.
(g) Taxicab stands.
(h) Passenger zones and freight loading zones.
(i) No parking regulations upon any street.
(j) No stopping regulations upon any street.
(k) Alterations in established speed limits.
