111.07 STANDING COMMITTEES.

   At the first meeting of Council in January next after the election of the members thereof, Council shall appoint standing committees for the ensuing two years on each of the following subjects:

   (a)   Finance;

   (b)   Laws and Ordinances;

   (c)   Public Utilities and Transportation;

   (d)   Public Health and Leisure;

   (e)   Public Properties;

   (f)   Public Safety;

   (g)   Public Infrastructure.

   Committees will be appointed by a majority vote of the entire membership of City Council. As long as the number of standing committees remains equal to or exceeds the number of Council members, each member of Council will chair at least one such committee. In addition, each member of Council will sit as a member of at least two other such committees. (Ord. 1995-23. Passed 6-19-95.)
