1505.10 INSPECTION AND PERMIT FEES.
With respect to any inspections or permits which may be necessitated by the provisions of the Ohio Fire Code, as adopted under Chapter 1501 herein, the fees applicable to such inspections or permits shall be determined by the Division of Fire in accordance with the Schedule of Fees and Charges.
Administrative Fees:
(a) License Inspections (Foster Care, Family Home Day-Care)
(b) Certificate of Fire Code Compliance.
(1) The Certificate of Fire Code Compliance is valid for one (1) year, reissued at the time of the annual fire safety inspection.
(2) When additional inspections are made necessary by incomplete or faulty work, or Fire Code violations, the fee shall be increased for each subsequent inspection(s) until corrected.
(3) In the event that the annual fire safety inspection, or an additional inspection as listed above takes longer than one (1) hour, an additional fee will be assessed.
(4) The Fire Chief, Fire Marshal or their designee may authorize inspection after normal working hours, on weekends, or on holidays, upon request. The fees for such inspection may be double the listed rate.
(5) Permit fees shall provide for customarily inspection only.
(c) If any of the fees imposed herein are not paid upon receipt of the invoice for same, or within thirty (30) days thereafter, such charges may be certified by the Mayor or his/her designee to the Wayne County Auditor to be included upon the tax duplicate for such property and thereafter collected in the manner provided by law.
