731.18 ENFORCEMENT BY DIRECTOR OF LAW.

The City Director of Law is hereby authorized to institute criminal or civil proceedings to prosecute, restrain, or correct violations of this chapter. Such proceedings, including proceedings for an injunction, shall be brought in the name of the City, provided, however, that nothing in this Section and no action taken hereunder shall be held to exclude such criminal proceedings as may be authorized by this chapter, other provisions of the City Code, or the laws, ordinances, or statutes of the County of Wayne, the State of Ohio or the United States of America, or to exempt anyone violating this Code or any part of the said laws from any penalty which may be incurred.
