1353.99 PENALTY.
   In any proceeding where the court determines that there has been a violation of this chapter, the court shall award to the complainant actual damages and may award punitive damages of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000). If the complainant is represented by the Director of Law, the court shall award reasonable attorney fees to the City. The court may also order such other relief as it deems necessary or appropriate, including, but not limited to, issuance of any temporary restraining order, preliminary or permanent injunction or other equitable relief.
