945.02 ACCUMULATION OF WASTE; CONTAINERS.
No owner, occupant or tenant of any residential premises shall permit the accumulation of any solid waste, except as hereinafter provided:
(a) Recycling bins shall be used exclusively for depositing recyclable materials and shall not contain any other solid wastes to be collected by the City or its contractor.
(b) The Mayor or his/her designee may require the use of separate containers for the disposal of separately defined solid wastes.
(c) Boxes, papers and yard waste shall be crushed and /or bundled so as not to exceed four feet in length and fifty pounds in weight.
(d) Bulky waste shall be placed at the collection location with any doors removed and rendered safe for collection.
(e) All other residential solid waste shall be placed in bins approved by the Mayor or his/her designee. Solid waste containers shall be stored inside a building or in the rear yard of any public or private premises, unless otherwise authorized by the Mayor or his/her designee.
