924.09 WATER NOT DISCHARGED TO SEWERAGE SYSTEM.
   Where it can be demonstrated that a substantial volume of water used is not discharged either directly or indirectly to the sewerage system, the City Engineer shall determine the sewer charges for the user; or the owner or other interested party, at his expense, may install and maintain a meter or meters acceptable to the Department of Service for the purpose of determining such sewer charges. In buildings where only part of the building is serviced by City sewer, until such time as the sewer is available, the sewer bill shall be on a prorated basis as determined by the City Engineer. In any event, the sewer charge shall be at least equal to the minimum charge applicable from this chapter. (Ord. 1988-10. Passed 2-1-88.)
