131.02: SALE OF CERTAIN BEVERAGES TO PERSONS UNDER TWENTY ONE YEARS OF AGE:
   A.   Person Defined: Any "person", as used in this section, means any human being, without regard to the legal or natural relationship to a minor.
   B.   Prohibition: Any person who shall knowingly or wilfully provide, sell, barter, furnish or give any beverage containing more than 0.5 percent of alcohol measured by volume to a person under twenty one (21) years of age shall be guilty of an offense.
   C.   Exception: The provisions of this section shall not apply to the possession and use of substances given or prescribed by a physician as part of the care and treatment of a minor, or to medications provided to a minor by a parent or legal guardian. (2001 Code § 131.02)
