Any person violating any provision of this code, or any rule or regulation adopted or issued in pursuance thereof, or any provision of any code, regulation, or ordinance adopted herein by reference shall, unless another penalty is specifically provided for, upon conviction, be fined in an amount not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) per offense. Said amount shall be in addition to the city's cost of prosecution, enforcement, and adjudication, which cost shall be a minimum of fifty dollars ($50.00), and shall include the cost of reasonable attorney fees. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which such violation occurs or continues to occur.
If any person receiving a citation for violating any provision of this code or any rule or regulation adopted or issued in pursuance thereof, or any provision of any code, regulation, or ordinance adopted herein by reference, fails to pay, settle or adjust the fine specified herein, then adjudication procedures may be initiated in accordance with chapter 7, article L of this title or with a court of competent jurisdiction, and such processes as necessary shall commence.
