(a) The boundaries of the districts are shown on the map entitled "Official Zoning Map of the Village of Woodsfield, Ohio”, or “Zoning Map”, which is made a part of this Planning and Zoning Code. The map and all the notations, references, and other information shown thereon are a part of this Planning and Zoning Code and have the same force and effect as if the district map and all the notations, references, and other information shown thereon were all fully set forth or described therein.
(b) No changes of any nature shall be made to the official Zoning Map or matter shown thereon except in conformity with the procedures set forth in this Planning and Zoning Code.
(c) Regardless of the existence of purported copies of the official Zoning Map which may from time to time be made or published, the official Zoning Map, shall be the final authority as the current zoning status of land and water areas, buildings and other structures.
(d) In the event that the official Zoning Map becomes damaged, destroyed or lost, Village Council may, by Code, adopt a new District Map which shall supersede the prior official Map. The new official Zoning Map may correct drafting or other errors or omissions in the prior official District Map but no such corrections shall have the effect of amending the original Planning and Zoning Code or subsequent amendments thereof.
