All licenses issued under the provisions of these code sections shall expire at midnight on December 31 of each year, but Council may renew under the provisions of these code sections for an additional period of one year. If the application for such a license renewal is accepted and the license granted as provided by these code sections, the amount of the ongoing annual license fee
shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) per year.
