151.15 NEPOTISM POLICY.
   (a)   Definition of “Relative”. For purposes of this section, “Relative” is defined to include mother, father, son, daughter, sister, brother, step-parent, step-child, step-brother, step- sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, and a legal guardian or other person who legally stands in the place of a parent to the employee.
   (b)   Restrictions on Employment.  
      (1)   No person shall be hired as an employee of the Village of Woodsfield who has a relative in the appointing authority or within the department of the position being filled.
      (2)   No employee of the Village may move or be transferred to any job position which places him or her in a department where the employee has a relative.
      (3)   No employee of the Village may move or be transferred to any job position which places him or her under the jurisdiction of the appointing authority or within a department where the employee has a relative.
      (4)   No person shall be hired as an employee of the Village in any department whose supervisor is a relative of that person.
      (5)   No employee of the Village shall move or be transferred into a job position which places him or her under the supervision of a relative or within a department where the employee has a relative.
   (c)   Exemptions to Restrictions on Employment.
      (1)   Employees hired as for terms less than ninety days shall be exempt from the provisions of this policy.
      (2)   Employees hired for employment at the Woodsfield Municipal Pool shall be exempt from the provisions of this policy.
