151.09 REIMBURSEMENT OF EPA LICENSE EXPENSES.
   (a)   An employee, approved by the superintendent, shall be reimbursed for his or her expenses in obtaining a Class I license if the employee passes the certification test by his or her third attempt. Any expense incurred after the third attempt shall be borne by the employee.
   (b)   An employee, approved by the superintendent, shall be reimbursed his or her expenses in obtaining a Class II license, however, such employee shall, prior to obtaining such license, enter into a contract with the Village, providing one hundred percent (100%) reimbursement if the employee works for the Village for five years following receiving certification; eighty percent (80%) reimbursement if he or she works only four years; sixty percent (60%) reimbursement if he or she works only three years; forty percent (40%) reimbursement if he or she works only two years; and twenty percent (20%) reimbursement if he or she works only one year; and no reimbursement if he or she ceases his or her employment during first year of employment. The contract will provide that the employee shall be reimbursed his or her expenses, but the employee will be required to repay the reimbursement, based on the length of employment, as stated above.
