The head of such Volunteer Fire Department shall consist of the Chief, who shall be appointed by the Mayor and approved by Council pursuant to Ohio R. C. 737.22, and who shall be an elector of the Village. There shall be a captain for each company and such other officers as may be named in the constitution and by-laws of the Volunteer Fire Department which have been filed with the Clerk of Council.
