(a) In addition to any other requirements established by ordinances, statutes or regulation within the Village or the state, any officer employed as a regular full-time police officer within the Village shall be required to reside within the Village.
(b) An officer living outside of the Village shall relocate within seven months of date of appointment or shall be subject to discharge.
(c) The residency requirement herein established shall be waivable upon written consent of the Mayor and Chief of Police. (Ord. 495-85. Passed 3-4-85.)
