§ 33.073 PURCHASES AND EXPENDITURES; LIBRARY FUND.
   (A)   The Library Board of Directors shall have exclusive control of the expenditure of all moneys collected for such library and deposited to the credit of the Library Fund, and of the construction of any library building, and of the supervision, care, and custody of the grounds, rooms, or buildings constructed, leased, or set apart for that purpose.
   (B)   (1)   All moneys received for such library shall be deposited in the treasury of said city to the credit of the Library Fund and shall be kept separate and apart from other moneys of such city. It shall be the duty of the Board of Directors of such library to deposit all such moneys paid over to it in a fund to be known as the Library Fund.
      (2)   Such fund may be drawn upon by vouchers of the Library Board. Said Board shall have power to purchase or lease grounds, or to purchase, lease, erect, and occupy an appropriate building or buildings for the use of said library.
   (C)   When a building erected or purchased by the Board is not adaptable for its purposes or needs the Board may remodel or reconstruct such building. Said Board may also, with the approval and consent of the City Council, sell or otherwise dispose of any real or personal property that it deems no longer necessary or useful for library purposes.
