In every dwelling unit every sewer line, water line, plumbing fixture, vent, and drain shall be properly installed, and maintained free from obstructions, leaks, or defects so as to prevent structural deterioration or health hazards. Every kitchen sink shall be required to be in good and operable condition and shall have hot and cold running water. If a garbage disposal is present is must be in good and operable condition. All repairs and installations shall be made in conformity with the Building Codes and Plumbing Codes adopted by this municipality.
