Submit the plan containing the information above to the city for review and approval. Review and approval should come within two weeks of submitting a complete plan. Once a site grading permit has been issued, work can begin.
(A) Plan. The sediment and erosion control plan must define the measures to be taken to meet erosion control principles and standards as defined in these regulations. The plan must assure that sediment is not transported from the site by a storm event of ten years, 24-hour frequency rainfall as published by the Illinois State Water Survey rainfall for this region less the allowable release rate.
(B) Conservation district comments.
(1) When a plan is submitted to the city, the plan shall also be submitted to the Madison County Soil and Water Conservation District.
(2) Such comments may pertain, but need not be limited to:
(a) Erosion and sedimentation control;
(b) Soil use limitations;
(c) Environmental considerations;

(e) A small fee is charged for this service.
