Before any electrical wiring is attached to any billboard in the city for the purpose of illumination, the owner shall obtain an electrical permit from the city and pay a charge of $5 for each sign. The wiring must be rigid conduit and the plans must be approved by the Electrical Inspector. The individual installing the electrical wiring does not have to possess an electrician’s license.
